Isn't it cool? :happy0158: I think it gives a great feel for the book.

Ingrid and I were discussing this yesterday, great cover but the question is What does Darkfever have to do with Vampires?

Sometimes it's just a cultural thing when it comes to the translation. The Russian version of Immortal has the word mountaineer in the title.

I don't like it. Looks like Ozzie Osborne, not JB. The girl could do for Mac, but not what I envision. I see her as more preppy.

I agree that it screams vampire...Mac is not how I had imagined her to be either. Too many roots...sorry I'm not trying to be mean ! JB, I assume, has too much white powder. I thought he had gold skin, Basque-Celt...

I agree with you Jo! My man has gold skin Basque-Celt. Sex appeal that oozes out of his body in the air around him. He is S-E-X!!
As Mac said " Six foot two or three, he had dark hair, golden skin, dark eyes, His features strong, chisled. I couldn't pinpoint his nationality any more than I could his accent; some kind of of European crossed with Old World Mediterranean or maybe an ancestor with dark gypsy blood. He wasn't handsome. It was too calm a word. He was intensely masculine. He was sexual. He attracted. There was an omnipresent carnality about him, in his dark eyes, in his full mouth, in the way he stood." :drool-vi::drool-vi::drool-vi: oh yeah! Jericho is more than this cover! But, I don't think the authors get to pick the cover. Actually, he looks like a Dark Hunter from one of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books!

:a20:I like the layout of the cover or theme, but the guy model is a bit scary to me. He is even more pale than me and that's hard to beat. But I have to give some credit, because JB does have longish hair. (it's in the first few chapters of DF)

Hi Ladies:
The cover is dramatic, but I don't like the male model. He does look to pale. His facial features are not very attractive too me.
I like the US cover better.:a23:

When I found this cover on amazon's it took me some time to figure out that it's the German translation of Bloodfever! The title really is confusing, it means 'Under the Spell of the Vampire' and I wondered WHO the Vampire would be! The description says "In Ireland Mac finds out that she can see vampires and feels erotically attracted to them. Luckily she meets JB, who is a expert at handling demons and vampires. While they are fighting the Evil together, they get attracted to each other." I'd really like to know why the FAY are translated as Vampires in German. I'm sure there would have been better words than that! The picture on the cover is nice, but the guy really looks more like a Dark Hunter than like JB or V'lane, lol!
