Dark Book

I was re reading most of the highlander books and dicovered a couple of things... A mere rubbing or copy of a page of the dark book can turn a man into something not human. Maybe JB has a captive in the bacement that got a hold of said book as i recall Jb had a copy of a pg out of the DB to show mac i believe she tossed her cookies.....
The Queen A made ADAM look like the humans which leads me to ask what was he befor.
I know that she and others refer to him as the only (last of his kind) Prince of Djar .
Was he like Ronan a unseelie hunter with wings or some other creature.
Could JB related to Adam I wonder????

Okay, I think this is definately a good sound theory! Could totally burst my JB is cursed theory out of the water. Especially since there were sounds of like 2 things in the basement. Maybe he has 2 down there.

I don't know if I think Adam and JB are related. It is possible, I don't know if that is the vibe I get but hey, I love exploring all options out there. It is a fun way to pass the time while we wait. *sigh*

When Darroc & Adam razed the highlands ? After the compact ? When the seelie king realized he lost Aedan of INTO DREAMING ?!!! I shouldn't have reread anything. When Mac is in the library she never finishes reading all the definitions of druid, seelie, etc.

So I was wondering if the Unseelie king was not the author, could JB be the writer? Before you guys start saying anything, Please read DF for my backup on this. (sorry my copy is back in the library) JB knows a great deal about the book even though he has not read it? He even says in DF that he can not understand why people can not remember what the book looked like.

If he is the author, this may explain the curse he maybe under.

Let's say JB wrote the book for Unseelie King, king liked it and than for some reason cursed JB. Leaving JB almost as weak as a human. (does not have all of his powers) So he could be after the book for revenage on the unseelie.

This can explain why the shade demons do not attack JB in the alley, because he is one of them, in a way?

I honestly think JB & Adam (before the "change") & V'lane are all from the 4 different houses of FAE...Queen A is D'Anu, Adam was D'Jai, V'Lane is , not enough info yet, and JB DEFINITELY not enough...yet.

Ok so V'Lane Seelie i can definitly agree... But i just dont really see JB as a Unseelie.... (Def... similarities to Cian) I dont think he would take some much effort towards Mac if he was... Yeah she is his opp detector but based on how ticked he gets when she shows any type of emotion towards V'Lane just dosent make sense to me..... I might just be overthinking everything i seem to do that alot

I think its funny how my brain works.... While thinking things does keep me busy i also lose a lot of sleep over it:th_sheep:... I lay down to go to bed and instead of falling asleep my head just starts storming up possibilities and pondering on old ones:cutenap-vi:.... Next think i know its three in the morning and im still up itching to tell someone my thoughts... and the sad thing is it will never end because once i get my hands on bloodfever i will read it in about three days:th_read: and then start thinking about faefever... In one of the teasers for Bloodfever, JB tells Mac that he's loved and lost and I'm wondering if this is Adam talking. (Of course, JB is a little younger and shorter than Adam, so I know I'm WAY out in left field here, but there could be some kind of connection.) I think that when JB jumps down from those ridiculous heights he's actually sifting and that he's definitely part fae, not cursed. I can't wait to find out what he really is! I also can't wait to find out how Darroc became a sorcerer (I'm assuming that's what he is now). I just finished re-reading Spell and realized that Lucan had actually met with Darroc, but wasn't able to get anything from him before Cian took care of him. Hurry up October!!!

Yes JB can sift time, one example is in the sewers when he rescues MAC from Malluce's anger and I also believe that Darroc is using DARK MAGYK too...Once we see Darroc with a little less clothing minus the cape, it would be interesting to see if he too has tattooed runes on his body....like Lucan & Cian had.

I was thinking that JB and V'lane must both be Seelie Princes since they both know each other, yet JB has not told Mac to try and kill V'lane because he is Unseelie. (JB has always warned Mac of the Unseelie). And V'lane hasn't told Mac that JB is dangerous and/or Unseelie as well. So, I have to think that they are both Seelie. Am I way off here?

Oooh! Interesting thought! My guess is that Darroc would focus all his attention on getting the Dark Book, and worry about getting back at Adam after he's assembled his arsenal. But I bet you're absolutely right!
