ok i know everyone likes to find actors or models of their favourite characters - which is great! :drool-vi: - but has anyone drawn anything from the books? this one in particular?

it would be interesting to see the Grey Man or how someone thinks he might look based on the description.. as well as other characters/things of course....

i'm an artist and this sort of thing is something i love to do lol i have been thinking of making my own illustrations just for the heck of it.. of course i'll have to read the book again and write down Mac's descriptions..

so anyone else want to join in?

That's cute too!! I totally understand, in my twisted tongue a water faucet came out a waucet. Makes sense to me!!!

my husband and i were in the office and heard what sounded like...Cookie Monster.... it was a Rhino Boy!

like i said i suck at humanoid types and the thing i imagined looks totally better than this... when i first started drawing my husband walked past the computer and said "Looks like the old lady monster from Monster's Inc... the one behind the glass!" and then he proceded to imitate her voice... so i changed the facial structure . now it only looks like the Stay Puft marshmallow Man..


and here is the Shade.. i know i didnt follow the amorphous rule.. but this is really what i pictured. i just imagine they can bend and twist any way they want..

Love the Rhino boy!!!!! :2v-vi: looks like I imagined them to. However, the shades I had imagined them to be free form, kinda like Casper & his ghost buddies in the cartoons. Your art is very good!!!!! Keep giving us pictures. I am by no means an artist but I appreciate those who are and would like to see more.

lol yeah i kinda couldnt go for the free oily form of the shades. if i was an animator - working on it - then i would have done better.... i imagine they can move around like oil in water, but standing still or what ever, yeah lol
i also know they dont have eyes, especially glowing ones.. but i couldnt help myself. in DF when Mac shook her fist at one and it bristled back THATS what i pictured :D
