Thanks for the puppies, they are cute!

Not having a bad day, really, I just don't like any type of jokes that promote prejudice. I became an anthropologist to counteract prejudice I saw around me growing up in the South and I want to insure that someday my own children will live in a better world than I do. Any prejudice, however mild or unintended, in my view promotes the belief that there are differences between people that can be judged in a hierarchical manner which I believe to be fundamentally wrong and unnecessary. We are all different but everyone has something beneficial to contribute and when we start classifying people into groups and judging them by those groups then we miss the beauty of the individual and what that individual can contribute to our lives. Sorry, getting off my soap box now, I have nothing against humor, I use it all the time, but when I view it could be perceived as being hurtful, I try to draw a line.

i know what you mean when i was in elementary school the kids would make fun of me being hard of hearing calling me names stayed away from me I learned that it is what is on the inside that counts not the outside, so to this day, if I can I will tell someone who is making fun of some one knock it off and so forth and that includes my dad, it pisses me off when he does that, espcially in public where people could hear him
