I don't know how I started reading it again, but I accidentally started reading Darkfever for the third time! It is such an easy, pleasant, intriguing read...I really have to find another series while I wait! How many times have you read Darkfever?:drool-vi:

from the looks of my posts & questions...I'm confusing everyone. I've reread all about 5 times now...TOO MUCH time on my hands until school is in the end of this month where I live...:a20:

... and I haven't been keeping track, but probably about 5 times. I have it on audiobook, and so I listen to it while driving back and forth between LA and San Fransisco. I did that a lot while my niece and nephew were playing Little League earlier this summer. I have probably also re-read Immortal more times than I can remember. There's no other book I've read so often that I've lost count.

The irony is that, like many of you who've posted elsewhere on the site, at first I didn't like Mac as a character at all. If it weren't for the fact that I was driving the first time I listened to DF, and without the CDs would have been bored out of my skull, I would never have finished DF - that's how much I disliked Mac. But she grew on me!

Kiss = 10x+ (I reread this whenever I'm between authors)

Just read it for the 3rd time the other night. But since reading it is not making October come any faster I think I will hide it from myself.

Darkfever read - 3 times

Bloodfever booklet read - 5 times

Banging head on the table wondering why I'm torturing myself by re-reading this stuff and then being on the message board everyday which just makes the wait for October seem that much longer -- tons

the pleasure of reading such awesome books, regardless of the agonizing wait - priceless

Amie! This was such an excellent thought. I have to print it out and paste it to my computer! LOL!

6 times, probably. There are times when I skip to the goods (i.e. theory-makers lol) but probably 6 full, cover-to-cover, times.

I do the same with my Harry Potter books, to make sure I don't miss out on anything. But sadly I had to relinquish my copy of Deathly Hallows to my mum, then she lent it to my middle sister and bought herself another copy (yay 2 copies!) so... so far I've only read DH *counts* 3 times. Boo.

But I've re-read Kiss... umm... 4 times I think. In less than a week. Compulsive reader, I tell you *shakes head* Now what will I do when I have to go back to school (uni freshman here)? I'm counting the days *excited/terrified* ... a week exactly ... meep.

I read Darkfever twice and the booklet twice also. I'm going to wait until Oct. 13 to re-read DF and the booklet again.

I have only read DF once, but plan to steal it back from my sister and reread it just before Bloodfever comes out. As much as I love the Highlander books, they are almost hard to read because to me, it's gut wrenching not to be one of the heroines!

Hey :happy_face_waving:

For me it's been two. I've actually just gotten my hands on a copy and had to read it again until my Bloodfever arrived the other day. Now I'm about to read that again to make it even - it's only fair lol

LOL. Darkfever is a well loved, well worn out paperback. This one I couldn't even count how many times I've read it, I almost have it memorized...now that IS pathetic! ;-)

No way is that pathetic!! Once I finish BF I think I'm going straight to the MacKeltar* books and then reading them in order then DF and BF just to get a really good read in hehehe.

* Of course that means after I work my way to the end of BF I'll have to read Cian's story so I can read Adam Black's story and then I may as well start from the start and work my way through all the books. *sigh* lol

3 times. Mine is the hot HB one with JB and Mac on the cover :anim_naughty-vi: twas very misleading, and i think it is good they changed it for the pb. I think the cover is what made so many think it would be a normal romance like her other books

All the way through about 5 times. Although I have scanned the book many times while going over theories. Also read many different parts for a pick me up when I'm in a bad mood. BF just makes me happy.:6:

So far, twice. I'm now on my third. LOL!

Hi - I started listening to the audio books for Dark and Bloodfever. I have finished both. Each has 8 CD - about an hour long - so I get to hear half a cd on my way to work and the other half going home. I love it!!! I have ordered the audios from the Highlander series now too - since I have to WAIT for Faefever. FYI - I hate the voice used for Barrons in the CD - but have adjusted - I have my own voice in my head. The V'Lane voice and Lord Master voice is better.

I have read it four times....I think I'm done for a while....I'll probably read it again sometime this spring....I get to thinking too much when I read it, and I start getting impatient because I want Faefever so bad! Reading it more than 6 or 7 times I think would be torture....but who knows...I might read it 10 times before Sept. 30.:03:

Too many many times I have read
KMM's Darkfever instead of going to bed
I found the reading worth the thrill
but staying up late makes me cranky enough to kill
Will I read yet again one more time
of course of course
Dark Fever is a favorite of mine.

I've read them all three times and I bought them CD for myself for Christmas. I'm listening to BF now and loving them. Just got past the tattoo/chained up scene in the garage. So sexy! I really like V'lane voice on CD too. It's almost dry and very melow. I just image him being utterly still when he talking to her. So in control of his world, and hers.
