Mamogram

This is the morning I go for my Yearly Mamogram this will also be the last year I visit the CANCER CLINIC if It IS CLEAR which it WILL be.:happy0158:
SO this a new place If I have 1 peice of advice to give is self exam get a baseline mamogram I treated myself for my 35th B-DAY I was 41 when I found the lump EARLY DETECTION .....:(

They have a neww CP had to wait till it reset between takes thanks to Sarah

By the looks of old X-ray And new I didden't see any changes but then I'm not the Expert....

I am wishing you lots of luck. Breast Cancer is very close to home for me, to the point where my mom and Aunt will be going through the genetic testing to be proactive for my cousins and I. Have you heard of Fran Drescher's Cancer Schmancer organization? It is very cool and there is a website. She is a survivor of Uterin (probably spelled that wrong) cancer. Anyway...hope all news is good news for you!

Alba, that is great news, I'm glad you're well and going strong!!! You are right, early detection is so important. My ex-boss was diagnosed at age 36 while pregnant. She is now C free, and her beautiful daughter is a handful at 6! Thanks for spreading the word!!! {{{HUGS}}}

Ann, I am so happy the tests went well for you. I know how it can make you sweat bullets untill you hear them call your name and say; "all is ok, you can get dressed now" ... "Thank you God, again for your blessings" !
I went for my dreaded mamogram/chest xray in Jan.2007 & I am so glad it is over untill next year. I still have to go to the cancer clinic for awhile longer {Aug} coming up ..{UHG} !! all the blood work & *lookover* they give me every 6mos.
When a woman has breast cancer, it forever changes her life and the lives of everyone who loves her ... But we have to be strong & Believe in Miracles !
I go to the Susan G. Komen website often & connect with a wonderful group of Survivors & Activists ... The stories are heartwarming & very uplifting to me when I need a little reminder that every hurdle we pass should not be taken for granted.
Everyone get their yearly mamograms & remember early detection does *Save Lives* {{{Think Pink}}} ...Breast Cancer Survivor 2003...
