I have this habit. If I know a new book in a series is coming out soon, I'll go re-read the series, just to make sure I'm all caught up.

So imagine my horrible distress and dissapointment, when I go to get comfy with my copy of Darkfever, to find out it's not there! Where is it you might ask? Well as far as I can figure, it's in a box in storage.... In Canada. Which presents me with a problem. Because I'm in England, NOT Canada! How I managed to bring all my KMM books, and JR Ward books, and a few Sherrilyn Kenyon titles.. and NOT grab Darkfever is beyond me.

In light of this tragedy, I hopped on Amazon.co.uk (kicking my own butt the whole time, I might add) and found the elusive Darkfever. Plus I got Into The Dreaming for just £1.50! That one I did not leave in Canada... that one was a victim of the Friend Who Borrows Books And Never Returns Them. But sure enough, two days later, they were delivered to my door!

Needless to say, I'm so happy! Not to mention a little late for work...:nah:

So in the end, disaster was averted, much thanks to Amazon, and good ol' VISA :2v-vi:

LOL... glad you got the books. There truly is nothing more annoying to have an incomplete series at hand. Just knowing the book is out there and missing from your collection. urgh

Yes, I always order my books on Amazon as well as most of the authors I read are not published in the UK. Just finished reading Bloodfever which was a spectacular follow up to Darkfever. Can't wait for Faefever to come out in September. So long to wait...

Glad you were able to find the books, that would have been so frustrating to find them missing!

Glad you got the book! And "Into The Dreaming". I love amazon too. It's fast and it you don't have to pay the sending, which makes me always crazy, because I see a cheap book, but then the shippin costs that much, that I could have buyed the books also in a book store.
