OMG, it must be really scary, and fabulous to have a Bad Moon Rising scene in Faefever. I am hanging on by my teeth for Oct. of this year, and now I already want Faefever! :03:This will be a long 4 years, but I would not give up this series for anything! Thank you, Karen Marie, for your fabulous, and ,frankly, scary story about Mac and Jericho! I have never anticipated any books as much as this series! I hope that you win ALL kinds of awards for them! May God bless you, and may you continue to heal from your illness. You are in all of our thoughts and prayers.

I love this song - that jazzy, swing sound is a favorite of mine.

My daughter sings and this is the type of music she is in too, also. Check out Michael Buble (he is fantastic!), he does a great version of fever.

I see a bad moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin'.
I see bad times today.

Don't go around tonight,
Well, it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

I hear hurricanes a-blowing.
I know the end is coming soon.
I fear rivers overflowing.
I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

Don't go around tonight,
Well, it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.
All right!

Hope you got your things together.
Hope you are quite prepared to die.
Looks like we're in for nasty weather.
One eye is taken for an eye.

Don't go around tonight,
Well, it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

Don't go around tonight,
Well, it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

My husband's band used to do this as a cover song. They did a funny version too where they changed the words from There's a Bad Moon on the Rise to There's a Bathroom on the Right..very funny stuff..if a little juvenile

Oh OH! Here's another Peggy Lee tune that I thought would work with the Fever Series. It's the opening to Lady and the Tramp themesong - He's A Tramp ... When Peggy Lee says - What a dog. Whaaat a Doooooog. (You know how she has that sexy inflection in her voice). If I saw JZB going by on his motorcycle, in the flesh, that's what I'd be thinking! Ahooooooo!

Anyway. We'll learn whether this is appropriate or not soon enough next month when BF comes out! ;-)

If you guys like the sultry jazzy tunes check out Nina Simone's "I Want A Little Sugar In My Bowl"

I want a little sugar
in my bowl
I want a little sweetness
down in my soul
I could stand some lovin'
Oh so bad
I feel so funny and I feel so sad

I want a little steam
on my clothes
Maybe I can fix things up
so they'll go
Whatsa matter Daddy
Come on, save my soul
I need some sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin'
I want some sugar in my bowl

You been acting different
I've been told
Soothe me
I want some sugar in my bowl
I want some steam
on my clothes
Maybe I can fix things up so they'll go
Whatsa matter Daddy
Come on save my soul
I want some sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin'
I want some - yeah - in my bowl.

Mac should definately have this one on her playlist.

This made me think of Faery (a friendly version). It could also be added to Mac's one hit wonder playlist.

LMAO! there is a song with lyrics "I've got an ice-box where my heart used to be" but the guys I worked with sang it "I told the doc-tor that it burns when I pee". First time I heard it, I just about peed my pants I was laughing so hard - juvenile is great once in a while! ;-)

I would like to know who played the characters to the tribute to "Bloodfever" and who sang the song in this video. I am real curious. If anyone knows, let me know.

In movies, there's always like a song that plays in the background when certain characters are together (especially if there's any romance involved). I think any time there's a scene between Mac and V'Lane..."Fever" by Peggy Lee should be in the background. ~Fever, in the mo'nin, fever all through the night~ ^-~
