Do you have a favorite place? Tell about it. My favorite place is the Bahamas. I absolutly love it there...it is the most beautiful, relaxing, friendly place I have ever been. It smells like BBQ 24/7 and they actually rake the beach every day!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick? I would choose to live in Scotland, and would bring my whole extended family there to live with me.

If you could meet any character from a novel, who would it be? I think that Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice would be the coolest friend

What do you like to daydream about? A novel I am working on. It tends to take over my thoughts and I like to see the scenes played out in my head.

What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done? Well...I was horribly stage freight in high school and allowed myself to be talked into participating in the Junior Miss contest. It was terrible and I was terrible! But, I survived.

Do you like technology? Why or why not? I like it to an extent. Sometimes it gets overwhelming, though. For example, I hate that anyone can get ahold of me at any time because of cell phones, but I hate to not have it with me in case of an emergency.

Favorite song(s)? One Slip by Pink Floyd

If you could have anything you wanted out of life, what would it be? I would like financial freedoom and a big family.

What has been the happiest day in your life so far? Seeing Roger Waters live in concert last summer

Do you think there is life on other planets? Absolutly! And I think they are so much more intelligent than us that they don't even feel they need to bother with us.

What is your favorite thing to do in the winter time? Curl up in front of a fire with a good book

Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? What do you remember? I haven't really been anywhere at this point in my life that I would consider interesting

What is the most exciting adventure you have ever had in your life? I got lost in the woods with two of my really good friends when I was in the eighth grade. We had left at 8 AM and weren't found until 3 AM...my Dad didn't talk to me for a week!

Have you ever met a famous person? Tell about it. I have met a locally famous person...B.E. Taylor. He is local to Pittsburgh, PA and he is totally cool. He just played at a Cancer Benefit for my Aunt and was awesome! I met him in the mall over Christmas...I was so psyched!

Could you live without a television at your house? Why or why not? I am sure I could, but I choose not to. I would miss my reality TV too much!

What is your favorite movie(s)? The Wall, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Kingdom of Heaven, Elf, Knocked Up, 300, Pride and Prejudice (A&E Version), Moulin Rouge, Step Up

Would you like to be younger, older the age you are right now? Why? Age doesn't matter to me, but if I could go back to any time period, it would absolutly be Jr/Sr High School years

What is your favorite room in your home and why? I hate the house I live in right now and don't have a favorite room

If you had to describe yourself as a color, which would you choose? Most of the time I am pasty white

What do you think the world needs now? I don't know about the world as a whole, but I think that Africa needs help with their Aids epidemic, the US needs a new President, and we could all use a little bit of patience in dealing with each other

Have you ever seen anything supernatural or unexplained? If yes, what was it? Yep! I have seen three ghosts in the house I lived in in Monaca, and a UFO landing in a field. My mom was with me, so I know I am not crazy!

What do you think about when you can't fall asleep?Whatever I am listening to on my iPod

What things do you think are beautiful? The ocean, sunset, stars, a nice washboard stomach, children full of innocence

What are you afraid of? Spiders and being raped in my home...don't know why, but have had the fear for years

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick? I don't know. There are so many places I want to visit but I don't know where I want to live.

If you could meet any character from a novel, who would it be? Duh, Drustan of course!

What do you like to daydream about? romance, I've always fantasized romance novels in my head while falling asleep.

What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done? I interefered with some kids who were bullying this kid in McDonald's. No one else said a word. My sister and I walked up to them and went off on them for what they were doing, LOL. I am not a confrontational person so that was big for me.

Do you like technology? Why or why not? Love it! If not for technlogy we would not be here together. I keep in contact with my family and friends through technology. I met Karen through technology.

What has been the happiest day in your life so far? I don't have any one favorite day. I try to enjoy everything and have had so many wonderful moments in my life.

How many places have you lived in your life? Name them. Vietnam, MI, KY, TN, IL, OR, WA, MD, Korea, CA and GA. If I listed all of the cities, I'd run out of room!

What is your favorite thing to do in the winter time? eat and sleep

Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? What do you remember? Somalia but not interesting in a good way. The smell ws awful.

What is the most exciting adventure you have ever had in your life? My life is an adventure and hopefully I will continue to have many.

Have you ever met a famous person? Tell about it. I lived in Los Angeles for a long time, I've met many celebs.

Would you like to be younger, older the age you are right now? Why? I'd like to have my younger body but with my current age because I love the person I am now but my body looked better then.

Do you have a favorite place? Tell about it. Where I grew up. I would live there but the DH's job pulled us away. There was nothing too special about it, but we lived out in the country and the nearest village had a population of only 300 and boasted it's very own blinking red light at a four way stop in the center of town.

If you could meet any character from a novel, who would it be? Silvan would be cool to meet, don't you think?

What do you like to daydream about? Having my very own studio.

How many places have you lived in your life? Name them. 1. North Adams, 2. Lincoln

What is your favorite thing to do in the winter time? Have a fire in the fireplace.

Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? What do you remember? The Henry Ford...we go there a lot. I LOVE the really old, rustic farm houses.

What is the most exciting adventure you have ever had in your life? I've led a pretty boring life...probably having my kids (I had C-sections for both).

Have you ever met a famous person? Tell about it. No, but I saw Adam Duritz from Counting Crows walking down the street about a hour before the concert started that we were going to.

Could you live without a television at your house? Why or why not? It would be hard, but I think I could.

What is your favorite movie(s)? Showboat (the 50's version) and Holiday Inn.

Would you like to be younger, older the age you are right now? Why? This age is good.

What is your favorite room in your home and why? The living room because that is where the computer is.

Walt Disney World, without a doubt! I love the early 1900’s atmosphere with its ragtime music, horse drawn wagons, motorcars, the train station, the castle, etc. I’ve been there at least 15 times!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?

Brenham/Chappell Hill area here in Texas.

Other spots: Tennessee or Mackinaw Island. (Cars aren’t even allowed on MI!)

Outside the U.S. – Scotland and Italy.

If you could meet any character from a novel, who would it be?

For now it’s a tie between Faramir (LOTR), Dr. MacNeill (Christy) or Joseph (he’s my own Scottish creation).

I would say Dageus, Drustan or Jamie but as far as I know they each have a lady hanging on their arm.

What do you like to daydream about?

What is the bravest thing you’ve ever done?

One evening I sat at my computer and just started writing. It was total crap and I didn’t know what the blazes I was doing, but it turned into a story. A simple one, but it was something. I’ve learned a lot since then. Actually, the bravest thing was probably showing it to my mom.

Do you like technology? Why or why not?

It’s a love/hate relationship. I enjoy my dvd’s and music cd’s. It’s extremely convenient being able to do research online in my own home and writing over the computer. It’s fun visiting different message boards and interacting with people around the globe. I LOVE being able to see live webcams in Scotland and Italy.

That being said…. If I had to, I could live without it. I especially could if I lived in the countryside. It’s only that I’ve always lived in a city, which I hate, and tv and internet are an escape from that. Also, I REFUSE to have a television set or stereo viewable in my bedroom. I can’t stand the sight of them.

Favorite song(s)?

I love movie scores like The Piano, Out of Africa, Braveheart, LOTR, etc. I love the lyrics to Bryan Adam’s “To Really Love a Woman” and “Please Forgive Me.” A favorite opera song of mine is very depressing. It’s called “La Lucevan le Stelle.” Michael Bolton sings it beautifully on his album of arias. (I do love depressing music).

I LOVE the POTO movie soundtrack. Gerry’s voice is so sexy and mannish! Even powerful, seductive and soothing. There’s nothing the pansy about that voice.

If you could have anything you wanted out of life, what would it be?

To be rich enough to do whatever I wanted. I could devote all my energy into writing and travel. I’d take pictures from all over the world!

I would also love to work or visit a movie set. I’d love that creative environment.

Write about something that drives you crazy!!!

- Why do some people wear socks with sandals? A sock rules out the destiny of a sandal!
- People smoking while driving.
- People who don't have their children in seat belts or car seats when driving.
- People who come to live in another country and they don't even bother learning the language. I think that is so disrespectful. If I were lucky enough to move to Italy, you bet I'd learn the local dialect. It's the right thing to do.

What has been the happiest day in your life so far?

- When my niece and nephew were born.
- When we all went to Disney World together.
- When I won $1,000 on the radio – twice!

Do you think there is life on other planets?

The universe is so vast that I doubt we’re the only intelligent life.

Scrapbooking (An expensive hobby. This is where the ‘Weekly Grand’ would come in handy), photography, PhotoShop, movies, music, writing, bookstores, etc. I have a lot of hobbies.

What is your favorite thing to do in the winter time?

Being out and about during cold weather. (Summer pretty much lasts until November here). When it’s REALLY cold, I prefer to hibernate indoors with my kitty cat.

Where is the most interesting place you have ever visited? What do you remember?

Probably the Titanic exhibit. I really enjoyed seeing the things that have been recovered, but it was also sad.

What is the most exciting adventure you have ever had in your life?

I’m more of a daydreamer.

Not yet. I’m not really into celebrities. Even Gerry I see as a regular guy. (A sexy regular guy that I wish was mine).

I don’t watch much television, but I couldn’t live without my dvd’s.

I have MANY, but my favorite is “Phantom of the Opera.” After that, “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir” and “300.”

Have you ever seen anything supernatural or unexplained? If yes, what was it?

Too many to list. I’ve experienced many things. (Not on a daily basis so much as over an extended period of time).

What do you think about when you can't fall asleep?

The song that’s stuck in my head which I can’t get out!!! At other times new scenes to place in my story.

What things do you think are beautiful?

Thunderheads rolling in, a skyful of stars, rolling hills populated with cows http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v71/Miss_Kristy/Smilies/e67d2641.gif and horses (I LOVE them!), cottage gardens, castle ruins, white sandy beaches.

Do you believe in past lives?

I used to be VERY closeminded about that, but nowadays I definitely believe. I really didn’t have much choice after the dreams I’ve had. (And around 3 visions). Also, when I was 6 or 7 years old I saw a man dressed in Renaissance clothing and with a pageboy hairstyle fixing the covers at my feet. Of course, even after that experience it took those dreams to make me a believer in PL’s.

While I’m open-minded, I still analyze. You can’t uncover the truth without stepping back and exploring ALL the possibilities.

What are you afraid of?

- Never finding a job that will make me happy.
- Never unearthing my creativity by means of storytelling.
- Doctors.
- Roaches!

What makes you laugh?

My niece and brother. Also the dearly departed composer/comedian Victor Borge. Gerry makes me laugh, too. I get so much pleasure from reading his interviews. He’s so talkative and funny. Quite the storyteller. I’d be above Cloud 9 to have conversations with him one day.

Who is your favorite KMM character? Why?

Tie between Drustan and Dageus. Drustan for his romance and Dageus for his tortured soul/roguish side. I love Grimm, too.

Who is your favorite Star Wars character? Why?

Yoda – b/c he’s so wise and… it’s not easy being green.

Obi-Wan Kenobi – b/c he is so devoted to his work and is sort of a tragic character in the end. Not to mention Anakin was just thrust on him without warning.

Who is your favorite Lord of the Rings character? Why?

Faramir – He’s bookish, tragic, honorable, devoted, a true knight… the list could go on forever.

Aragorn – His undying love for Arwen.

Gandalf – He’s so wise, yet he has his flaws. (Ex. – his shortness of patience with the Hobbits for instance)

What would you invent to make life better?

Killed a spider! just kidding lol thought it does take guts on my part!
Offering my first aid knowledge and assitance to a young boy who was stuck in his basement window (forgot his key) he broke the the window and tried to crawl through getting caught and severly cut as he became stuck. So taking the initiative to call an ambulance and do what I could to help him physically and mentally.

Love it, I'm always upgrading and buying new gadgets!

And No. My job is based on technology and it's amazing what you can do, get in touch with people from all over - after all I wouldn't know any of you fine ladies. OMG I totally agree here! Just reading this gave me the goosebumps! When my kids were babies I bought only rubber coated spoons to feed them because I couldn't stand putting metal spoons in their mouths!

I could never park it in one spot forever, which is why I actually love where I live - in South Jersey, across the Delaware River from Philly. I'm close to Europe, halfway between North and South Americas, 30 minutes from the beach, 45 minutes from the mountains, 5 minutes from Philly, 45 minutes from NYC, 1.5 hrs from Baltimore, 3 hrs from DC... it's great!

As for romance, I'll just tell you my fave authors - KMM, Kenyon/MacGregor, Nicole Jordan, Liz Carlyle, JR Ward, Deirdre Martin, Janet Chapman, Carly Phillips, Keri Arthur, Susan Grant, Emma Holly, Julie Garwood, etc.

How many places have you lived in your life? Name them.
St. Quentin & Paris in France, CA, AZ, NJ - those were primary "homes," but I've spent a few months to a couple of years in lots of different cities because of the military.

What is your favorite thing to do in the winter time?
Visit the Jersey Shore... the semi-deserted beach towns are charming in the winter, and the ocean is amazing.

Greece & Italy - the history is amazing and there's so much to see/learn, a lifetime wouldn't be long enough to absorb it all.

What is the most exciting adventure you have ever had in your life?
I'd like to think I'm yet to have it!

I met a lot of actors/TV celebrities while living in CA, many political icons while in the service, and loads of pro-athletes in my job. The coolest evah - are probably - John Glen, John McCain, Mark Messier, and the one and only KAREN MARIE MONING!

I could live with a TV that had only a couple of channels... ESPN 1 and ESPN 2?!!

It's the world's largest cave system; there is a narrow low ceiling space to go through called "Fat Man's Misery" it was funny watching my dad go through it because he's kind of a big guy, but he made it.

My brother and his wife honeymooned at WDW last summer. They rode Tower of Terror, too, and loved it. Well, I think my sis-in-law said she might not brave it a second time :p but my brother said he would. I've always wanted to give that ride a try, but no one was ever brave/insane enough to ride it with me.

And I agree. WDW is heaven on earth. I've been to the happiest place on earth at least 15 times. I haven't been back in years and I really miss it. My brother and his wife miss it so much that sometimes my brother refuses to even talk about it. :p He gets really depressed b/c he wants to go back the very second we begin talking about it. I REALLY want to see the revamped POTC ride. (Especially the hologram of Davey Jones at the mouth of the cave).

I wandered away from the tour group and found myself alone in one room where I swear I could feel and hear the ghosts of those who once lived there. This would have been a perfect op for any highlander, but no, they didn't find me! lol
