Disney is doing a new animated film, which appears to be the handdrawn kind like Sleeping Beauty and Little Mermaid.

and get this.

It is set in New Orleans, and is the first of Disney's cartoons to feature an black girl as a princess. I am really looking forward to seeing it. The CGI films were getting old. I like my handdrawn awesomeness.

I saw a preview for that while we were waiting on Underworld to start. It looked funny. I loved that she was trying to cheat the frog out of lip on lip action lOL

That does look cute. And I miss the real drawn animated features too ...those are the bestest.

And Rapunzel is going to be 3D. Not sure how that's gonna work out. I think they should stick with 2D for the princesses. Classics work best.
