Quarentine!

So, there is this epidemic of porcine influenza in mexico city and surrounding areas! and they canceled school for kids all ages, from kinder to university.!
It is scary to see people so freaked out!!!! They had never canceled school for a virus! The government is even considering canceling work until the epidemic is under control!!

I don't know how many have died , I think it was 45 people!!!! so anyway, I am here locked in my house with my two toddlers hoping we get enough stuff to do these days indoors.

Bless your heart! Scary! I think I would stay home for awhile, too, and try not to venture out. Enjoy this time with your kids and play!

Yes it does worry me a lot! specially since my husband is out there working and going and coming from one place to the other!!!!!

it is really scary i don't want him to bring in anything bad!!!!

Wow, I guess the only thing he could do would be to wear a mask and gloves while out. Wash his hands well and put new ones on each time he leaves an area.

I told him so! he should wear a mask and avoid kissing and hugging these days! and he said to me: "Is it because you don't want me to be kissing anybody, right?" Like if it were a joke, and I think he not aware of the size of the situation!!!! I swear if he gets the virus I will send him to his mom!!!!!!!

Hi Jo, well that is the main issue, that immunization is applied on november, (besides it is a mutation of the virus, it is not the one they apply in the vaccines) and now they don't have it available, due to the emergency in the city all vaccines are being given already to doctors and nurses for their personal use, because there are more than 950 people with the virus already so all the vaccines are going to the goverment doctors nobody else has access to them. My brother has important contact in the company that sells the vaccines to the goverment, and they told him they were restricted nobody had access to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are giant busses loading the vacciness toake them away for the use of the health sector only (Only those working there no patients)

SO everybody is in panic!
