how i understood jericho rain was that this song represents how mac felt just after beig made pri-ya... she didnt want him to see her like that but she realizes that she cant get better without him...
"give me that jericho rain" is mac asking barrons for help
"im so glad you found me/take me away from here" is when mac was being kept at the abbey and barrons came for her
"my body's needing something it should have never had" means shes craving fae sex
" only one good thing is that i escaped/without you seeing me in this disgrace" here mac is refering to the fact that she was glad that it was dani who saved her... that it was only dani who saw her like that
i dunno... thats just how i saw it... im sure it can be interpreted differently
how i saw it was that rain is soothing... cleansing... but it can also change/heal... it symbolizes what mac needs most (at that particular time in her life)
but you might be on to something as well...
