Question Leiha, why can't we have a 'trash bin' for deleted profile messages?!

    I am not computer savvy...
I have profile messages I have answered then deleted the message.
HOW do I get rid of the excess and leave the open messages still there?!
You can click on the below to see what I am talking about...
    Thanks, :0]
Wouldn't that free up space on the board somewhat?
When the message is deleted, shouldn't they be...GONE?!

When you delete any message or post it then has to be physically removed by mods (Leiha mostly). Post become invisible to you if I remember rightly once you have deleted, but apparently visitors messages do not.

I know Leiha regularly checks and physically deletes the posts and threads. I'm not sure how often she does the album comments, group and visitors messages. I think there is probably a backlog as Leiha hasn't had much time to be here. You are the major visitor deleter so would notice first

I actually cleaned them out last night, the weird thing is I just checked and there is only 1 message for me this morning to clean out, all of those deleted messages by Jo didn't show up but I did delete a bunch of other deleted messages from Jo's page last night. Sometimes it's the same with deleted posts, Lin will see them but I won't. Don't ask me why. I'll go in and delete yours from your page Jo.

    Default I understand, -^-Lin-^-. Merci!

    Thank you very much, Leiha!
I am so, so sorry for the added work.
    That was not my intention.

Are we supposed to clean out visitor messages? I am confused. I don't know what to do, and I don't want the mods to have to do it for me. What are we supposed to do?

This lovely siggy of His Hotness (who is Mac's friend, btw....)
was created by the verra talented Viking Princess!

There's no rule about it at the moment.

Jo likes to delete them when she has replied etc so she knows where she at, maybe a few others the same, but most don't.
