Adam is thinking....

For the first time in his existence he wished for an ability no Tuatha De' possessed. Though they'd learned to move backward to certain degrees in it, and forward again to their present (though never beyond that; legend held there was only one race that could navigate what was yet to be, but Adam gave little credence to such legends), not even the queen herself could stop time.

So they can go forward and backwards a certain degree in time. We know humans can go threw the standing stones backwards in time also.

Navigating what was yet to be.....Is that past the point of when we die?

Is the legend meaning that the one race CAN go past the point of someones death and restore that person in time to prevent his/her death? Will this be the FAE Karen says we have not been introduced too?

Hmmmm... could it be the "thing" they tryed to raise on Halloween, has this power?

QA knows some of what is to happen in the future, this is why she has placed her players where she wants them. Where they will do her the most good. I wonder if the "one race" is what she will be coming up against, in ShadowFever, and her "players" "playing" agianst the "one race"?

this is fascinating- I'm currently reading IH (well listenign to it, I'm burning through all the highlander novels with much haste)

I wonder....

since time isn't really linear, I wonder if it's not past the point of death, but just in the future- like how the HoAD is rumored to be the Hall of ALL DAYS that have been, are, and will be...

and if that's the case...

I'm just gonna stop here until I finish IH lol but I've got a crazy thought stewing in my bones lol

you know...Barrons being able to navigate AND manipulate the silvers is in a way connected to time. As time passes differently in fae realms, and I'd say that would apply to the silvers to do you think?

Speaking of the thing they tried to raise on Halloween, maybe...and this is big-crazy-kind-of-maybe...but maybe the thing was already raised and that is partly why they failed. Maybe that's why Christian 'chickened out.'

Lol! I think I've gone loopy enough that I'm throwing all sorts of crazy ideas out there now!

As I read this I think back to the pictures of Barrons that the Mackelters have. Pictures of him in various time periods. I often thought that Barrons may not have "lived" through these time periods and rather went through the mirrors possibly looking for something. The something that he is using Mac to find.

Hmmm, that is a thought. Barrons does seem to think he KNOWS everything.

Mac did think that he used some antiquated terminology, perhaps he has been traveling through time, but maybe it's not just one way to the past, maybe his point of origin is somewhere way back when and he went too far to the future, and is now trying to fix things? I'm so reaching, huh?
