    Default Book and author recommendations

It seems like we get this question a lot so I'm going to post this as a sticky so when people ask about new authors or books that they should read we can refer them here and if you find an author you love and want people to read you can post it here.

So what authors or books do you recommend to your fellow Moning Maniacs who are anxiously waiting for the next KMM book?

Other than KMM's books, I am obsessed with Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series. I just got the DH companion book to the series in the mail yesterday and the nerd force within me is on a mega-high

I have to recommend J.R. Ward and the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Gotta love the brothers!

Kim Harrisons books are really good so far. To me, those are worth reading.

I'm not really a romance reader, although I do tend to like Luanne Rice's novels, and have been known to pick up one of Fabio's books for a good laugh (Fabio? Write? Ha!).

I'm more into thrillers. I always recommend Stephen King, and Anne Rice. I've been on a William Bernhardt kick. He writes trial books; the man used to be a lawyer. He's a really good read, and his Justice series is very good!

And if you truly want a good laugh, pick up Christopher Moore - perhaps Fluke, or I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings, or Bloodsucking Fiends. I'm constantly laughing when I read his books.
