I couldn't bring myself to read book 7. I read the first 15 pages and had stop. I love the first 4 books in the series and then they started to go downhill from there. I'm not a fan of the lengthly descriptions in books 5-6 and by book 7 I was totally done.

You didn't like 5, 6 or 7 because of the lengthy descriptions?? Oh noooo. I live in fear then of when I continue the series... because LORD KNOWS... I thought the descriptions in 1 thru 4 were too long. LOL

... ever wondered how a couple of characters are faring from their last appearance in the latest book (such as Jem? Lord John?)... Diana has posted what I guess are excerpts from the as-yet-unnamed Book 8. They're short, but it's something!!!
