As it is just Mac's POV we just can assume that it was a silent conversation between them she was listening to. But we do not know for sure either.Originally Posted by jeram

If it's the scene I think you are referring too, I think Mac said they were having one of those silent conversations that her and Barrons have all the time.
I Think They Were Assessing Each Other. Cause Barrons Just Showed Up And Introduced Himself And Jack Lane Did Not Form His Opinion Until He Had Had A Look At Barrons. Which Was When He Decided Barrons Was Not Suitable To Be Mac's Employer (or Whatever Else He Thought Barrons Was To Mac :d )
For whatever reason I was just unclear on that.
