I was just thinking how my auto-buy list has diminished so very, very much in the past year or so, and was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem?
Johanna Lindsey was an auto-buy for me for a long time, as was Julie Garwood and Judith McNaught. Now I just wait for paperbacks from the UBS, sometimes not even then do I purchase those books.
I must say, though, KMM has yet to disappoint me (I'm pretty sure she won't); JR Ward and she are the only 2 left on my auto-buy list. Although I think I will make an exception and add Suzanne Brockmann back into the fray since she blew me away with Into the Storm (I love that book).
Anyway, I just wanted to find another author to love. My problem, though, is that I fall in love with an author, read everything she/he has ever written, then am inconsolable because there are no more!
Just wanted to see who is on everyone's auto-buy list so that maybe I could give the author(s) a shot. And I'm talking auto-buy, not just reading the back cover and thinking, "Oh, her last one was rather interesting. I'll pick up this one as well." I'm talking, "OHMIGOD, I'LL SELL MY FIRST BORN FOR THAT BOOK RIGHTNOW."
Thanks, ladies (and gents? Are there any gents?)!

NOW."
