WTF! Water cut off?

Okay. So I go to brush my teeth befor eI leave for class...no water.

I try the kitchen...no water.

I pay the utilities so I know that we are paid for....so what the hell. My roomie calls the office and find out there there is a leak in the building, but do they give us notice they are cutting the water off to fix it. No. Luckily I was going to take my shower after class, since i am running behind, but what the hell, if you are gonna cut the water wouldn't you inform the people who are using said water first so they don't panic and call you asking what the feck is going on?? *sigh*

Yep they should notify you but they usually don't. Anyway, you might want to take clothes with you to class and stop off at the gym, I'm guessing your school has one, and take a shower there. Bcause what if they don't get it fixed in time for you to take a shower before you have to go to work. Then you would just be icky all evening long.

they are supposed to give you at least 24 hr notice but since this was an e.r. they couldnt do that but the office should have personally called and talked or left a message with each resident!! i would be down in that office reaming them a new one!! but thats just me

I hated living in an apartment for that specific reason -- I think that my building must have been the leakiest one on the block -- water was off and on all the bloody time.

Hopefully it'll be back quick..but that is so wrong in so many ways...yet i cant stop laughing thinking about the poor people that were taking a shower at that exact moment when they cut off the water...lol..ok got that out of my system..but Victoria hopefully it'll be back on by the time you leave class

Blegh, I can sympathize. Living in apartments sucks. My last building came to change my AC filter and left my apartment UNLOCKED...Bastards.
