Adam Black is the character that tied the Highlander novels together, several allusions to the characters occur throughout the fever series. Adam Black was the last prince of the Seelie house of D’Jai—the D’Jai Orb also comes from this house. Darroc alludes to the Queen not punishing others quite as harshly as he was in Dreamfever, referring to Adam. V’lane mentions him by name in Dreamfever when he tells Mac he is beginning to understand Adam in reference to why humans fascinated the former prince.
